A boiler service involves a thorough inspection of key components, including the heat exchanger, burner, controls and seals. The engineer will carry out safety checks, test system operation, and clean internal components where required to ensure the boiler is operating correctly.
If your boiler stops working, it’s worth checking the basics first, such as thermostat settings, power supply and pressure. If the issue isn’t resolved, contact us to arrange a repair. We’ll assess the problem and work to restore your heating and hot water as quickly as possible.
When you book a boiler repair, we’ll first diagnose the fault and make sure the appliance is safe. We’ll then explain the issue and talk you through the available options. If parts are available and the repair can be completed during the visit, we’ll carry on and get your boiler working again. If parts need to be ordered, we’ll provide a clear quotation before any further work is carried out.
We work on most major gas, oil and LPG boiler makes and models. Repair times vary depending on the fault. Many issues can be resolved during the first visit, while more complex repairs may require parts to be ordered. An estimated timeframe will be provided after the initial assessment.
For boilers over 10–15 years old, replacement can sometimes be more cost-effective if repairs become frequent. Newer boilers are generally more energy-efficient and reliable. We’ll always assess the condition of your boiler and explain the options clearly so you can make an informed decision.
